Feeling unfulfilled without a job, Van decides to dive into various sports. Hesitant to care for Elizabeth while Cheyenne attends school, he hires a nanny. Meanwhile, Cheyenne is overwhelmed with her studies, believing she needs to support the family. BJ confides in Reba about his loneliness and asks her to persuade Brock to move back in, but Reba humorously suggests a dog instead. Brock, on his end, seeks Reba's input on whether BJ is ready for him to return. To everyone's surprise, BJ reveals his unexpected news: a baby "Brock." The nanny is a hit with Van, cleaning and teaching Spanish to him and Jake, but Reba feels uneasy, as the nanny doesn’t seem to recognize her authority.
