Recently released from prison, Togusa receives documents announcing the disbandment of Section 9. Feeling lost and despondent, he searches for news about his former colleagues, but finds no leads. With nothing to hold him back, he decides to eliminate the person behind it all. Just as he prepares to go through with his plan, he is unexpectedly confronted by Batou!
