Kono embarks on a solo journey across the Hawaiian islands in tribute to her mother but soon finds herself battling fierce weather conditions that put her survival at risk. Meanwhile, the Five-0 team is on a mission to locate Kono. Their investigation leads them to a man arrested for meth production, who reveals that he was threatened with harm to his son if he stopped his illegal activities.
