As J.D. organizes his upcoming birthday celebration, he stumbles upon a bucket list of goals he aimed to achieve by the time he hit 30. To kick things off, he decides to participate in a triathlon. Meanwhile, Elliot uncovers an unsettling aspect of her boyfriend Jake's personality that leaves her uneasy. At the same time, Turk is determined to make a strong impression on his superiors and takes on a patient who wishes to undergo hypnosis during surgery, hoping this will help him secure a promotion.
