Bosco feels disheartened as he observes Cruz resorting to drastic measures, including planting drugs, scaring children, and fabricating a dying declaration in their pursuit of the drug dealer responsible for a murder and an attempted hit on a 12-year-old witness. Meanwhile, Nancy confides in Ty that she is breaking things off with Hancock, providing him with the leverage needed to free himself from Hancock's control and return to active duty at the 55. This also helps in getting Sully's suspension revoked.
