Magneto seizes control of a prison island, threatening to disrupt the Earth's gravity unless the prison authorities comply with his demands to free the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Complicating matters further, the Spider-Friends find themselves caught in Magneto's scheme as hostages, adding urgency to the situation.
