An inexperienced caver surfaces, visibly shaken, claiming he lost his companion in a maze of underground caves. Laurene works to distinguish the truth from his account as she considers the dangerous descent into the depths. Meanwhile, Cora suspects that the Mayor's daughter has been abducted by a shadowy group of activists, who have been tagging the walls of Villefranche with their symbols.
