Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
S04E06 The Kibe Family
When the Bliven family from Minot, North Dakota, learned that their second child, Aaron, had cerebral palsy, their doctor bluntly told them, "Life's not fair." Despite this, the Blivens, who also have an older son and daughter, treat Aaron just like any other child. He even played on a Little League team with his younger brother—until the league deemed his health too risky for participation. Rather than accept that, Michelle took action and founded a new team called "Dream Catchers," exclusively for children with special needs. Her dedication earned her the "Hometown Hero" Award for fostering a space where every child is celebrated.
