Time Team
S14E04 The Druids' Last Stand - Amlwch, Anglesey
The Time Team heads to Anglesey in North Wales to explore a series of earthworks that were only discovered in 2006 from above. They seek to determine whether these structures date back to the Iron Age or Roman period. While local residents believe the Druids once inhabited this area, the team faces challenges in uncovering artifacts due to extensive plowing. Just as they near the end of their excavation, they stumble upon an astonishing find. Ken Brassil from the National Museum Wales joins them, and local archaeologists create a wicker man that bears an uncanny likeness to one of the team members.
