S05E08 Deserted Medieval Village - High Worsall, North Yorkshire

Between October 10 and 12, 1997, Time Team visited High Worsall, a village near Middlesbrough that has largely vanished over the centuries. The team uncovered 14th-century structures, including a manor house, and discovered a perfectly preserved spindle whorl. They also conducted a hands-on demonstration of fishing and cooking the freshly caught fish. Additionally, historians Robin Bush and Dawn Hadley were seen delving into the village's history and piecing together a timeline of its past.
