Ernie and his buddy Elmore both fail their driving tests, while their dance partners manage to pass. In an attempt to hide their failures from the girls, they hatch a plan, but things take a turn for the worse when they find themselves in a bind after a date. Stranded and desperate, the duo ends up in trouble with the authorities, complicating their situation even further.
