Sergeant McCall fights against the parole of the man who murdered her husband five years earlier. Despite her objections, he is granted release. Determined to gather incriminating evidence for a new crime he may have committed, she starts to follow him. However, her efforts take a dangerous turn as she finds herself ensnared in a trap reminiscent of the circumstances surrounding her husband's death.
