The TARDIS finds itself trapped aboard a 17th-century pirate vessel, where the crew is under siege by a captivating yet enigmatic sea creature. With the ship stranded and tensions rising among the pirates, they spin tales of superstition to explain the appearance of the Siren. The Doctor suspects there's more to the story, but as his hypotheses crumble and escape attempts fail, he must earn the trust of the stoic Captain Avery.
