Tom pays a visit to a young couple, guiding them through the process of fixing a cracked plaster ceiling in their condo. Meanwhile, Richard and Steve are busy in the workshop loft, working on a toilet overhaul to stop it from constantly refilling. Outside, Roger tackles the removal of an old tree stump from a homeowner's front yard using a stump grinder. Later in the loft, Tom takes on the task of swapping out a broken glass pane and reglazing the window sash.
