Rayyan encourages Amaar to connect with the isolated Rev. Thorne, but soon feels left out as the two former rivals discover they have a lot in common. At the same time, a misunderstanding at the Mosque is mistaken for a hate crime, prompting Sarah to protect the Mayor. However, she eventually realizes she must be honest and work to restore harmony between the Anglican and Muslim communities.
