S04E04 Turn of the Tide

Title: Shifting Currents Plot: Nick and Alf embark on a fishing getaway to Whitby, where Alf is eager to enjoy a week off. Unbeknownst to Alf, Nick is actually undercover, investigating a smuggling operation. He discovers that a submerged container holds counterfeit cash. While Alf teaches Nick the ropes of fishing, they arrange a poker game with some suspected smugglers. Nick seizes the chance to pressure one of the players into revealing the counterfeit money. Staying with the Stirling family, who run a sailing shop, Jake Stirling assists Nick and Alf in setting a trap for the smugglers, leading to their capture. Meanwhile, Jake’s girlfriend learns she’s expecting, while he pressures her to consider an abortion, unaware of its legal implications. Back at home, Blaketon takes over Nick’s territory, providing him a chance to monitor Greengrass, who is thriving in the illegal venison trade.
