S04E07 The Sword and the Shield

Following his departure from the Nation of Islam, Malcolm struggles with the emotional and physical fallout from Elijah's betrayal. As more betrayals within the organization affect both him and Betty, he makes the choice to voice his concerns. Meanwhile, the FBI's scrutiny of Martin and Coretta breeds anxiety and fear. However, the enactment of the Civil Rights Act brings a renewed sense of hope for both Martin and Malcolm, paving the way for them to finally connect.
