The Tunnel
S28E18 East Boston | Upstairs, Downstairs–Complete!
The This Old House East Boston project has officially concluded! After a quick journey on the Blue Line, the world’s first underwater subway, master carpenter Norm Abram and host Kevin O'Connor arrive to find furniture being set up, a tent being erected, and flat screen TVs being installed. Upstairs, custom cafe shutters enhance the relaxed cottage vibe for homeowner Chris Flynn, while the first-floor unit sees the final touches on the glass tile backsplash. Interior designer Lisey Good reveals her "boutique hotel" aesthetic for homeowner Liz Bagley, while kitchen designer Kathy Marshall showcases the charming cottage kitchen and bath she created with Richard Trethewey.
