The Tunnel
S32E13 Auburndale; Absolute Curb Appeal
Host Kevin O'Connor arrives to see landscape contractor Roger Cook preparing to lay down nine tons of rustic Pennsylvania fieldstone for a new entryway. Inside, general contractor Tom Silva teaches Kevin how to identify quality cabinetry while assembling a kitchen island that arrived disassembled from the supplier. Upstairs, tile contractor Rob Raps is busy installing a striking black and white tile design in the children’s bathroom. Kevin then assists master carpenter Norm Abram as they encase the ceiling beams in the sunroom, completing the look with crown moulding. In the foyer, Tom showcases the architect's choice of interior MDF two-panel doors, alongside a sturdier front door that’s being painted a bold shade called "audacious" red.
