Brokenwood is renowned for its exceptional merlot, making the annual wine show a highly anticipated occasion. DI Mike Shepherd, who recently acquired a 10-acre plot of ripening grapes, is particularly excited about the event. However, the festivities take a dark turn when a guest judge and wine critic is discovered dead, submerged in a fermenting vat.
