S02E10 The Secret of the Chingo Stone

At the cemetery, Kojiro demands answers from the ghost about why the Dark Samurai have been brought back. Meanwhile, Matabei, Hanzo, Kanetsugu, and Gisen wait in the dojo, while Muneakira, Jubei, Jubei, and Yukimura press Sen about the Chingo Stone. Sen reveals the stone rests at the foot of Mt. Fuji, regulating Japan's ki and shielding the land from instability. Great Japan was born when the stone was set there, and it continues to sustain the nation. The ghost, however, intends to use the Dark Samurai to shatter it—driven solely by a hunger for war and resentment of Tokugawa rule. Yoshihiko's master samurai had held them off until their loss to the Dark Samurai, when Charles let slip that Jubei was the one who defeated Amakusa.
