S12E01 That Voodoo That You Do

In the inaugural qualifying round, three teams featuring a skilled pumpkin carver, a cake designer, and a sugar artist face off in a culinary challenge. Zak Bagans welcomes them to the haunted streets of New Orleans, where they must invoke the spirit of voodoo queen Marie Laveau to create enchanting confections. As host Eddie Jackson and judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira evaluate the teams’ creations, they ultimately decide which contestant will be eliminated from the competition.
