He transports us to India to delve into the endless cycles of Hindu cosmology, while also illustrating how people in this century uncovered the expanding universe and its beginnings with the big bang. He then plunges into a black hole, only to emerge in New Mexico, where he introduces us to a stunning collection of 17 telescopes that are exploring the deepest corners of the cosmos.
