S01E01 Vanish

Camille Preaker, a reporter for the St. Louis Chronicle, heads back to her small hometown of Wind Gap, Missouri, to cover a story about two girls who have gone missing, one of whom has been discovered dead and is believed to be a murder victim. This assignment forces Camille to confront her controlling mother, Adora, and stirs up painful memories from her past, particularly the loss of her younger sister, Marian, when they were both in school.
