S03E14 Louie's Mother

Louie is excited to share that he has moved his mother from his apartment into a nursing home, so he decides to throw a party, inviting only Alex. Reluctantly, Alex attends and quickly realizes that the gathering is quite dismal, with only three awkward guests who soon leave for a more lively event. Louie reveals to Alex that, contrary to his cheerful facade, he’s feeling down because their recent argument led to his mom's departure, and he actually misses her. As Louie's sadness deepens in the following days, Alex persuades him to reconcile. When Louie visits his mother, she initially refuses to talk, but eventually agrees to return home with him, restoring their relationship.
