A deranged scientist, Dr. Mendoza (John Hoyt), enlists the Monkees to help his creature (Richard Kiel) learn to play music. In a bizarre twist, he transfers their musical abilities to the monster. Now, the Monkees must devise a plan to reclaim their lost talent. Byron Foulger plays Groot, Dr. Mendoza's quirky assistant, adding to the chaos. Can the Monkees outsmart the scientist and save their skills before it's too late?
