Sophie and Jonathan do very little to get ready for their new tenant, Flossie. In truth, Sophie vacuums while Jonathan is lost in thought. Meanwhile, at the Stenson household, Sam and her friend Betty are enjoying themselves with the phone, much to the annoyance of Sam's awkward older brother, Woody. When Flossie finally shows up, her excitement for the charming urban decay surrounding her is quickly dampened by an unwanted greeting from Fatso, the mean-spirited cat.
