The group is thrown into chaos when Joe unexpectedly becomes gravely ill. In the midst of the crisis, Erika uncovers an antidote but withholds it, insisting that Joe must first reveal his hidden truths. Meanwhile, reporter Renbe and Kat are in Rome for Tori's funeral, where they learn that her father, the U.S. ambassador to Italy, is actively looking into her mysterious disappearance.
