In 2008, Malena confronts a tough choice about whether to testify in the Cromañón trial, which leads her to rediscover a significant item she lost during the concert. The emotional turmoil brings back memories from the time leading up to the tragic fire. Flashing back to 2004, she tries out as a guitarist for Los Peces Chinos, the band formed by her friends from the neighborhood, while also wrestling with feelings of guilt stemming from a secret kiss she shared.
