Frustrated with his perpetual single status, Cal makes the decision to return to Texas. He approaches Fred to request the $2000 he initially invested in the junk business. In response, Fred playfully suggests that Cal should consider dieting, hinting that he might become more appealing after shedding a few pounds. Eager to make a change, Cal starts his diet, but soon finds it more challenging than he anticipated.
