The Legends are taken aback when Rory steps up to lead and successfully tracks down a vital alien, but he inadvertently plunges them into the Cuban Missile Crisis. The team opts to split up, with Nate and Zari teaming up to prevent a nuclear catastrophe alongside JFK, while Behrad aims to use his new friendship to persuade Castro against igniting a conflict. Meanwhile, Rory, with Spooner's assistance, strikes an unexpected deal that might set him off on a solo quest to locate Sara.
