S01E07 Blueprint for Murder

An architect eliminates his business partner and intentionally casts suspicion on himself, prompting Columbo to believe the body is concealed in the foundation of a building currently being constructed. The architect's scheme involves allowing Columbo to excavate the site, confident that nothing will be discovered. He knows that the location is ideal for hiding the body, as Columbo is unlikely to search the same area again.
