The town welcomes its new Chief Medical Examiner, Julianna Cox, as FBI agent Pandolfi interviews the team regarding Kellerman. Meanwhile, Frank seeks the perfect way to honor his anniversary with Mary. Julianna arrives at a homicide scene being investigated by Lewis and Bayliss, where they establish their own boundaries. A suspect confesses to an additional crime linked to Bayliss’ case. Tensions rise for Kellerman as the investigation weighs on him, leading to conflict with an arson officer. Brodie plans a chili dinner for the Lewis family, but it erupts into a heated argument. Following Frank’s advice, Bayliss and Lewis arrange for another body to be exhumed for examination. Frank and Mary mark their special day, while Bayliss starts to understand the new CME better.
