Marcus sets out to establish an orchard that will yield the ideal apples for his beloved dessert, tarte Tatin. A visit to Kent exposes him to a diverse selection of heritage apples found in the UK and provides him with valuable insights on cultivating his own. Upon returning to the farm, he learns how to attract pollinators and uncovers a fascinating variety of edible flowers. He also whips up delightful Indian-style chutneys using an abundance of produce from the kitchen garden. After planting his apple trees, he celebrates by preparing his unique take on the classic French dessert he adores.
