S14E08 Revisited – Creuse, France: 19th Century Manor House
Kevin McCloud returns to a secluded area in France to revisit a restoration endeavor that began in 2003, led by Denise Daniel and Doug Ibbs. When they left their lives in the UK for a fresh start in this remote region, they could hardly anticipate the challenges that awaited them. While many might have hesitated at the sight of a vast, crumbling manor with just four walls and a partially intact roof, Doug and Deni embraced it. This remarkable couple dedicated themselves wholeheartedly, tirelessly working year after year to transform the dilapidated structure they found online into a stunning masterpiece.
