S01E16 A Young Man's Fancy
Pearl travels to Baltimore to spend time with her sister, leaving the Jenkins family in charge of Calvin. After he auditions for the romantic lead in a school play but is disappointed when he doesn't land the role, Calvin falls into a funk. Sandra steps in to lift his spirits, but he misinterprets her support as romantic interest and starts developing feelings for her.
