He ends up lodging with the Jenkins family. Determined to secure victory for his choir, he resorts to various tactics, including treating the judges to dinner and hiring a professional gospel singer. Meanwhile, the D.C. choir enlists Brenda, Tiffany, and their friends to enhance their performance, resulting in a fresh and youthful vibe. The competition concludes in a tie, with both choirs earning the chance to represent the East Coast in the California semi-finals.
