While patrolling, Melvin and Haynes are almost lured away from a robbery in progress. As they pursue the lead, Haynes gets sidetracked by an armed robbery, forcing Melvin to release his captured suspect to assist his partner. The armed robber, filled with paranoia, believes that everyone is trying to poison him.
