Diana goes to the hospital to see Tom, who has successfully undergone surgery for his prostate cancer. After his recovery, he comes back to Bayview with her. Meanwhile, Geoffrey, after yet another argument with Marion, decides he wants to move in with them once more. In another turn of events, Baines faces disappointment when he is turned away from a prestigious golf club due to his unmarried status.
