S06E24 Fred Sings the Blues
Title: Fred Sings the Blues Plot: Lamont surprises Fred with a night out, taking him to a dinner and a concert featuring the legendary B.B. King. After the performance, Fred attempts to pitch his songs to B.B., but is unsuccessful. However, B.B. gifts him a book detailing his life and the origins of his music. This gesture leads to an invitation for the Sanfords to host B.B. for dinner. As Fred reads the book, he becomes anxious when he discovers that B.B. lost his love in St. Louis to a man pursuing a business opportunity in California, revealing the initials EW (for Elizabeth Winfield).
