As Ray's affluent in-laws prepare to visit, he pleads with his parents to treat them kindly. He confides that he often struggles to get along with Debra's family but has learned to put on a false front. Ray hopes his parents can do the same during their upcoming family dinner, aiming for a peaceful gathering despite the underlying tensions between the two families.
