Joy is thrilled to have made new Christian friends and get involved in church activities. However, when one of her closest childhood friends invites her to a birthday celebration, Joy faces a dilemma since it overlaps with a church gathering. She feels uncertain about how to navigate her relationships with her non-Christian friends as her faith evolves. Will they still accept her? Is it right to spend time with those who aren't saved? Superbook transports the kids through three Bible stories: The Parable of the Great Supper, The Calling of Matthew the Tax Collector, and The Sinful Woman. Joy is surprised to learn how Jesus embraced sinners, tax collectors, and the marginalized, showing that he welcomed everyone.
