Chef Cliff Crooks faces a challenging task as he steps in to mentor three struggling chefs. Dan, who once held the prestigious title of executive chef two decades ago, now finds himself starting from scratch as a line cook at 53, battling his lost confidence despite still possessing his skills. Moe runs a food truck that employs her family, but her reputation as "Messy Moe" is affecting her kitchen and business operations. Meanwhile, Brandy's chaotic approach to cooking has her forgetting basic tasks, like preheating the oven, which is taking a toll on her venture.
