The crew organizes a surprise birthday celebration for Julie. To keep her from guessing, Isaac, Gopher, and Doc pretend that their secretive discussions are related to the "Brotherhood of the Sea," an exclusive men's group. This angers Julie, spurring her to challenge the gender restrictions. As she focuses on breaking the mold, she dismisses a potential romantic interest, while the guys attempt to keep her occupied with a quirky "initiation" ritual. Meanwhile, a deceitful man relies on his clumsy yet kind assistant to hide his affairs from multiple girlfriends. Additionally, a young gymnast feels overwhelmed by her father's relentless ambition for her to become an Olympic star, while a lonely wealthy boy on the cruise encourages her to enjoy herself.
