Title: The Promoter/The Judges/The Family Plan/Forever Engaged/May the Best Man Win (2) Plot: Vicki takes it upon herself to bring together Captain Stubing and Emily, unaware that her husband is still determined to reclaim her heart. Meanwhile, Gopher finds himself in a Curacao jail, having been sent on a wild errand by Doc to distract him while he flirts with the marriage-a-thon judges. Carl and Mary Ann come to realize their meddling in their children's wedding was misguided, but their newfound romance causes tension between them. Mary debates ending things with Tom, who struggles to express his commitment due to deep-seated fears about marriage. Emily confronts Marv over his loyalty after her fiancé unexpectedly shows up in Curacao, denying any intention of leaving her.
