The Robinsons encounter a space traveler named Alonzo P. Tucker, an Earth man who was taken from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, by extraterrestrials back in 1876. He quickly bonds with Will by spinning elaborate stories of his life as a pirate. However, it soon becomes clear that Tucker is just an everyday guy on the run from aliens after stealing their mind-reading device. In a climactic turn, Tucker relinquishes the device to his pursuers, ultimately rescuing the Robinsons from danger.
