Title: Melody in the Shadows Plot: Ranch hand Danny Morgan, who often plays guitar, finds himself in a troubling predicament when he’s taken into custody for the suspected murder and robbery of the Widow Baker. Witnesses claim to have heard him singing near her home around the time of the crime. Compounding matters, Danny has noticeable scratches on his arm, while the widow was discovered with human skin beneath her nails. Despite this evidence, Adam remains resolute in his belief that Danny is innocent, recalling how Danny once saved his life and forged a strong bond between them.
