On April 26, 1994, China Airlines Flight 140 experiences a severe pitch-up, resulting in an aerodynamic stall just before landing. The aircraft crashes approximately 340 feet east-northeast of the runway's centerline while approaching Nagoya Airport in Japan. Tragically, 264 of the 271 passengers and crew aboard lose their lives in this devastating incident.
