S01E08 A Man's Only Happiness

Sung Chiang feels unprepared to align himself with the Liang Shan Po bandits, so he turns to his friend Hua Yung, the prefect of Ching Feng, for advice. Meanwhile, the corrupt Kao Chiu has appointed another prefect, creating more trouble. Hsiu Lan, the new prefect's wife, has been abducted by bandits. Shih Chin, known as the 'Tattooed Dragon,' joins the outlaws and ends up capturing Sung Chiang as well. In a twist, Shih Chin convinces the bandits to release their prisoners. However, Hsiu Lan reveals that both Sung Chiang and Shih Chin were among her captors, prompting Lin Chung to embark on a mission to save them and restore their honour at Liang Shan Po.
