The mastery of reproduction has made parasites the most dominant life forms on Earth. Some of these creatures are aggressive and cunning, pushing the boundaries of sexual behavior. These parasites are true sex addicts. In New Jersey, a woman discovers her apartment is overrun with one of the planet's most common pests—bed bugs. Their success is partly due to the males' brutal mating technique called "traumatic insemination." Meanwhile, a cyclist in Colorado realizes that the itchy bites on his scalp are from botflies. In Oklahoma, a chemical sprayer finds that his persistent cough is caused by parasitic worms thriving in his lungs.
